Analysed performance of CNN-based deep learning algorithms on a large-scale medical imaging dataset (5,000+ chest X-rays); identified key challenges in class imbalance and data quality, then designed an experimental iteration process to optimise model accuracy to 92%+. Prepared large-scale datasets for machine learning purposes — reviewed data quality criteria, identified data to include and exclude, addressed data quality problems through augmentation and preprocessing pipelines using Python (pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow).
