Job Description

Bizoforce is hiring a Cloud Automation Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will drive cloud transformation initiatives by improving platform reliability, automating infrastructure, and ensuring high availability of enterprise applications. This role combines Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Automation, and DevOps to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

  • Improve service reliability, availability, scalability, and overall platform performance.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), post-incident reviews, and problem management.
  • Reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) through automation and self-healing solutions.
  • Support production environments while ensuring operational excellence.

Cloud Platform Engineering

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
  • Build highly available, secure, and scalable cloud-native solutions.
  • Perform cloud optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Automation & DevOps

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, monitoring, and patch management.
  • Implement GitOps methodologies using ArgoCD or similar tools.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Implement enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.
  • Configure dashboards, alerts, and automated remediation workflows.
  • Analyze logs, metrics, and distributed traces to proactively identify issues.
  • Establish monitoring standards across infrastructure and applications.

Scripting & Automation

  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash/Shell, and PowerShell.
  • Build automation utilities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support cloud infrastructure management through scripting and automation.
